Practice 3 Saturday Morning- 2x Top Ten for Wilson Brothers Racing
Wilson Brothers Racing had a strong morning session with both cars appearing in the top ten places on the timesheet for the first time this weekend.
Andy Knight commenced the session in the number 26 Subaru WRX Sti, although his session was cut short when a flat tyre brought the car into the pits for an early stop.
James Winslow was next to climb aboard before handing the car over to Daniel Schulz who finished the session, with the car accumulating 13 mechanically trouble free laps, their best run for the weekend.
The car clocked a best time of 2:34.9942 to be ninth quickest.
Kurt Kratzmann started out the session in the number 25 Subaru WRX Sti before handing over to Brent Collins, with Inky Tulloch finishing the session.
After 16 trouble free laps, their best lap time was 2:35.6694, good enough to place tenth overall.
The team completed several practice pit stops with refueling, although the team plans much more practice for after the hour long qualifying this afternoon.
One issue that could prove important in the race is overcrowding in pit lane, with many cars pitted close together in the pits.
Positioning of cars, especially during safety car periods when cars need to park close to their refueling rigs imperitive.
